XHA1 PAL can shoot 50i with 1/60 shutterspeed. Strange but true.
My trusty VX2100 did the same thing. Because of that i always thought NTSC did 1/50th also.
1/30 isn't possible, but 1/90 and 120 is....

With my PAL XH-A1 I can choose both 1/50 and 1/60 shutter speeds in all the 50i and 25F modes (HDV, SD16:9 and SD4:3), when set to 'M' mode (manual). In the 'Tv' mode, 1/60 is not available.

Will these two shutter speeds still be available in 50i when upgraded to PAL/NTSC? According to the previous posts they will not be available when an upgraded camera is set to NTSC 60i.

Another question is if the flickering will be seen on the camera display when shooting?
