Strange Capture problem at DVinfo.net

I have no Idea what I have done. Went to transfer my latest footage to my computer and I can not transfer any HDV. Premiere Pro Says Can't activate recorder try resetting camera and Vegas says Device not Available. (Both worked perfect) yet if I go to the camera and tell it to downconvert to DV both will work!! I have double checked footage is HDV 60i, Project setting in both programs are what they should be, capture setting are set to HDV. Tried resetting the camera, no luck. what is odd is Windows Import Video works. I am running under Vista. Any Ideas?

FIXED!! K this is silly. I unplugged the firewire cable and went into menu and low and behold there was some addition setting I could change! strange they didn't show when the firewire was plugged in and in VCR mode.
