Re: Don't slam the Pelican case.
Yes it is Steven and there’s another brand from the UK not included in that review, and they answer the question about the pressure valve ...
https://peliproducts.co.uk/blog/2018...release-valve/ But it turns out, Peli and Pelican are the same company ... https://peliproducts.co.uk/blog/2018...-peli-pelican/ Cheers.

Re: Don't slam the Pelican case.
I used to keep my Nikon stills kit in a Pelican case. Everything from 24mm to 600mm. Carry on for air travel.
Weighed 35 lbs. Couldn't even lift it to the overhead locker nowadays let alone get it through check-in. Ron |

Re: Don't slam the Pelican case.
I "drove my Pelican 1560 until the wheels fell off" literally, I got it used back in 2009, and then replaced the wheels (sometime in 2018) and kept on using it. I've also added a lid organizer, and replaced the foam with dividers. Love my Pelican!
Well, the wheels didn't actually fall off. The tread came off one of the wheels in the parking lot outside the New Port Richey Florida Courthouse after I jumped a curb one too many times. Last edited by Roger Van Duyn; December 21st, 2020 at 09:42 AM. Reason: typo |
