proper shutter speed for fast motion...
Hello,
I normally shoot at 1080 (60i). Should I use a faster shutter speed to shoot a ski race? Any suggestions regarding camera setting would be greatly appreciated. |

Only if you want blur-free frame grabs of fast action. But be aware that a fast shutter may result in color shifting under certain types of lighting should you happen to be shooting under lights.
Fast shutter, even at 60i, can give a hint of strobe-like artifact to motion in some folks eyes. Do a test if you can to see which gives you the image you want.
