What were you doing at the time the symbol appeared? What was the camcorder mode?

I believe that symbol appears in Camera mode whenever the Index Write function has been triggered, either by a Custom Key or the wireless remote control. It is not described in the operator's manual as far as I know.

Chris,Don, thank you,
for my readforum expreince and realtime, i learned to record blank tape -black I record the empty blank tape in the same camera by closing the lens with given lid. I did get face advantages druing NLE capture. No problems with drop frames or batch capture things i did samething, but since A1 is new, while doing the same, i modified USB? function timecode, from default to something which records timecode onto tape. That should have caused this blink message?. :peace I am the first in Canon A1 board to find new unknown thing Last edited by Bhanu Prakash; January 3rd, 2008 at 11:30 PM. Reason: don |
