Presenting a "demo reel" to prospective customers
Hello,
I was wondering how people present a demo reel to prospective customers. As in, on a laptop, or HDTV etc. Of course this is when you have the opportunity to meet face to face. I'm planning to buy a small HDTV (21") and playback a demo reel tape on an HV20. I intentionally thought about using my Dell 24" but the pixel aspect ratio on computer monitors squishes things and I didn't want to have to explain this to a customer. Shiv. |

Sometimes I let clients preview their projects on a 50" plasma that is connected to an xbox360 that streams a 720p .wmv file from my workstation in my office... It actually works surprisingly well for a Microsoft set up... : )
