Analog Capture
I had a DVX-100a which as I recall would capture from sources like a VCR to put analog video into a digital format.
Now I've sold it and have the HV-20 and the A-1 from Canon. I'm looking all over this camera and don't see any inputs. Am I correct in seeing that there is no way to capture from a VCR to a mini-dv tape using this camera? Any suggestions? |

Hi Jonathan,
With the A1 you connect your VCR to the A/V1 terminal which will become an input for the analog signal in VCR mode using the remote controller to enter record/standby mode. Refer to your manual page 103 for the record proceedure and input options. |

Great. Thanks, I didn't see that this connection was output and input.
