Date and time with seconds displayed at DVinfo.net

I am going to be shooting video depositions with my XH A1. Is there a way to display the date/time with seconds without adding a date/time generator in the chain of equipment? If I do need a date time generator can you suggest a good, inexpensive one on the market.

I would simply put an analog clock in the background.
