Amie,

NLE means non-linear editor, and the HV20 is a Canon camera.

These are easy Google searches - a fast way to
catch up on some of the terminology.

Vegas is Non-Linear Editing software (NLE)
The HV20 is a small Canon HDV cam that many A1 users use as a deck and backup cam.
