Azden WMSPRO & SGM2X

Is there a way to use both mic systems and the same time on the XHA1? I tried to but if I plugged in one of the mics, the other was rendered useless. Thanks for any assistance.

Here's what you're running into:

The Azden WMSPRO connects to the camcorder via the 1/8th inch mini-jack input.

The SGM2X connects to the camcorder via one of the two XLR inputs.

Those different inputs are an either-or situation. You can choose either XLR or the 1/8th-inch mini-jack, but not both. The workaround would be to get an adapter cable which converts the 1/8th-inch plug on the WMSPRO over to an XLR plug, that way you can connect both mics via the camcorder's two XLR inputs. Thanks Chris. Now I have to find that adaptor, and hopefully is a small plug. Don't need all those wires on my camera.
