FCE HD Not Recognizing The A1
Hi Guys,
Final Cut Express HD doesn't recognize the A1 on my G5 or my Mac Book Pro. Oddly, imovie instantly pops it up as well as my HV-20 camera. I'm thinking of buying Studio 2, but can only imagine how mad I'm gonna be if the situation persists after that expenditure. Any suggestions? JW

Studio 2 will recognize it OK. I'm using FCP 5.1.4 and all is well, both in 60i and 24p modes.

Hi,
I have noticed the following on my PC: Sometimes XP takes over and assumes this to be a "generic" Microsoft DV unit and then Sony Vegas don't recognize it. Reboot usually helps, sometimes. With this in mind my *very* cheap tourist Panasonic DV NEVER EVER fails to be recognized when connected. But, this is PC... |
