Stephen Im finding that too.
I was shocked at the delivery prices from everywhere to
here in Ireland.
Anyway I went with stanleysonline.co.uk
maybe check em out

You might check prices on the Panasonic AMQ HDV/DV tapes. They're significantly cheaper than Sony in the U.S. and equally good, I think. You don't get the cool box that Sony provides, however.
