XF 100 and digital zoom.
Greetings.
Does the xf100 have a digital zoom option? I'm probably the only person I know who sometimes likes the look of this. My HV30 has this option. Thanks. Jonathan |

Re: XF 100 and digital zoom.
Yes it does: 1,5x 3x and 6x.
But general advice is dont use it. Best is to use a telelens. I have a Sony left over from my old Sony 2100. Performs very well, no blurring, not even on de outer side.

Re: XF 100 and digital zoom.
I've never tried the digital zoom on my XF100. In the Vortex DVDs on the XF300, Doug Jensen says he tested it, and the quality is no better than doing scaling of the clips in your NLE where you have more control. So I just do that occasionally.

Ann and Dave Thanks for that info.
For me it more the visual effect that the dig zoom has to offer, even in all it's wrongness.... |
