XF Utility file formats

Hello, backing up the CF card copies the following files to my computer:
.THM
.XML
.MXF
.CIF
.SIF
.CFA
.PEK

Other than the MXF file, what are the other files, what purpose do they serve, and do I need them?

Thanks for any help. (I read the manual and there is no mention of these formats).

Regards,

Len

Re: XF Utility file formats

You should keep all the files as there is metadata stored & the NLEs expect the whole card layout.

BTW The PEK & CFA files you listed are not generated by the camera. It looks like you are using Premiere Pro which generates these files when you import video.
