XF100 and Glidecam HD2000?
I just ordered a Glidecam HD2000 and the Glidecam Forearm Brace to use with my XF100. I also want to be able to use it with the Canon 1D Mark IV, so that's why I opted for the 2000 and not the 1000 (which theoretically would work with the XF100).
I saw a thread from way back when of a guy who mated an XF100 to an HD1000, and I'm wondering if any of you have any additional advice with respect to focusing, balancing and general Glidecam techniques. I'm shooting a bar mitzvah, and although I've photographed (literally) hundreds of them, filming one is a relatively new experience, and I thought the Glidecam would give me some much-needed stability out on the dance floor and elsewhere. Thanks!
