XF300 XF305 Rain Gear
Hey gang, which do you like better for XF300 rain gear - the CamRade wetsuit or the Porta Brace rain slicker? Any other choices?

Re: XF300 XF305 Rain Gear
i got both,
in rain the camrade is not the best, you will get water in this case.. The Portabrace is a good choice against rain ! But ist not easy to use. I use both this year on rallye in the polish "desert" Another cam-guy dosnt have any of this, the cam (Sony 25.000 $) was dushed by MUD |

Yeah, I looked at the Porta and thought I couldn't operate it. You've now convinced me. Hmmm...

"and thought I couldn't operate it."
With training to cover the Cam and with a tripod its possible to make very good shots on extrem points, the cover self its working very good. For handling with the cam in one hand its not very practicable i my eys. But on Dusty regions i use the Camrade, i never have seen a better coting. My Camrade was after the filming (one week in Desert !!) not white anymore ;-P |
