Second Camera to XF305?
Going to get a second camera to the XF305 and not sure if I should save some money and go with the XF300, or step up and get the XF305 so I can sync via BNC.
How important is it to be able to sync via bnc with 2 cameras, I have never been able to do it but sure seems that it would save a lot of time in post. I use Adobe Premier Pro CS5, so some syncing software does not work. |

Re: Second Camera to XF305?
Synching in post will be fairly straightforward in FCPX; however, by getting a second 305 you future proof your business by allowing for 3D shooting via the synch.

I did order a second 305, will be nice having the option to sync and will be able to match colors perfectly. |

Re: Second Camera to XF305?
When I bought an XF105 & XF305 synching them wasn't a consideration for me but having the HD-SDI output for use with a NanoFlash or similar was even though thus far I have never used the facility. My other thought was that sometime in the future if I ever came to sell them is that they would be more desirable & thus keep their value better than the XF100 & XF300.
