shooting progressive on xf305
Hi
I have only shot on the xf305 50i but have just been asked to shoot for 10 days in Liberia in progressive mode. 25p. When I have shot progressive before on other cameras I have always put the shutter at 50th. I was going to do the same on the xf305. Am I wrong? Cheers Mark |

Re: shooting progressive on xf305
That's what I do - it looks fine and suits me.
You'll probably get less motion blurring and lose a stop of light, but if exposure isn't a problem for you, then go for it. You can easily make a test can't you?

Yes You're right & funnily enough that's just what I'm doing. The camera sets automatically to a 1/25th though so everytime you switch off you have to reset to a 5oth bit of a pain that. Maybe a bit of gaffer over the switch will sort it out.
