Shooting with EX1
I have a series of shoots coming up, straight lectures, long lectures, with my XF300 as wide camera, and a EX1 doing MCUs of lecturer.
I'm for sure going to go to 35 VBR to save disk space, etc. But -- Has anyone tried doing any matching with an EX1? Any recommended tweaks in the EX1 settings, etc.?

Re: Shooting with EX1
Hi Bill,
I've had a Sony EX-1 for years... just bought an XF100 today, to use alongside the EX-1. I'm glad you started this thread, and I'll hope that others who know more than I do tune in and post. As an aside, I've used a smaller Canon (an AVCHD model) for a few years, as a second camera. I finally gave up in disgust because I find AVCHD to be such a pain. I'm more hopeful about the Canon XF100, for all sorts of reasons. Anyway, I'll sign off, and hope that there are other EX-1 + XF100 users out there, who can tell us a thing or two about how to make these two cameras work together really nicely. Regards, Malcolm |

Re: Shooting with EX1
A multicam shoot with the Xf100 and the EX1 is what a lot of us (me) really want to see, given that it is really easy to rent an EX1.
