2010 Emmy Opening
I've heard this opening of the 2010 Emmy Awards show was shot with the XF305 by Michael Blieden, director/DP for Jimmy Fallon's show. He might have even used auto focus!

Yes, they used a 305 for the opening.......and then his show bought a few to do all their "out of studio" work" around NYC.....

Interesting tidbit, Jim. Thanks.
Do you know of any other broadcast productions using the XF3xx family? |

There are 2 other shows(reality) that are using the 305s and about 6 other ones(reality) that are switching over to the 305s and 305/105 combos in the next 3 months. I'm not allowed to name them just yet .....but as soon as I can I will. Sorry for the tease......

Thanks again, Jm. Nice to have an inside contact.
So, are the XF3xx becoming more recognized and accepted in the production world? |
