Help with MXF Files importing into Pinnancle Studio 14
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me out, l've just taken the huge step from tape to Flash Card recording and bought myself a Canon XF300, now l have to deal with importing MXF files into my editing program Pinnancle Studio 14 (S14). Currently S14 doesn't reconsize these files so l have to convert them with the MXF Converter program, but it appears that it reduces the file size considerably...Anyone any have suggestions about how l can convert these files without losing quality... Looking forward to hearing your replies... Belinda Jane... |

I believe pinnacle 14 does not support the MXF format 'primary' because it is not a professional application it is geared toward consumers, you will be better off with AVID composer 5.01 from Pinnacle or you may try final cut pro if you are a mac user or Adobe premiere if you are PC user. you may lose quality if converting to a format pinnacle 14 understands,MXF is a professional codec.
