Re: Canon introduces XF105 and XF100
The cameras are being released to NE dealers from OHIO as we speak. My dealer, Al-Art Video, expects to see them on Tuesday. Limited supply...no 105's released as of yet.

Re: Canon introduces XF105 and XF100
Got my XF100 this morning.
Charged the battery. The menu is super logical. Made test shots. Imported from CF card directly into Edius. She is an absolute beauty. |

Re: Canon introduces XF105 and XF100
We got our XF100 so resisting the desire to ditch real work and play with it. I suspect it is no accident that it was called the XF100 to indicate that will become as iconic as the DVX100 was.

But I’ve set the Automatic Gain Control Limit to +6 dB. That looks natural, above 6 makes noise in the picture. But what do I know, there is hardly no light in my house. I think the low light performance is excelent. |

That's impressive low light performance. Thanks for posting. You might want to get the administrator to move this to a newer thread on the XF100/105.
