Playback Jitters
Hi All,
I have just filmed some footage in my Garden to show a perspective client this camera xf305e. I shot 1080*1920-50i @25fps. I then cut it in FCP using log and transfer and I set the preferences to Native which is XDCAM HD422 1. After editing my little sequence I have exported as a QT at the same settings. When I playback the footage even at a quarter size it strobes and jitters has anybody any idea why. I think maybe I have the wrong field dominance but I'm not sure how you change that in the new version of Quick Time Player (version 10 ) (114) Can anybody tell me whats going wrong. |

Hi Mark,
how did you export your sequence? Did you have to render the timeline first? Otherwise field dominance shouldn't be a problem on a computer (progressive scan) screen. Give VLC-player or the good old QuickTime Player 7 a try and see if the strobing still exists. You might want to post a few seconds of that native quicktime footage, so that we can analyze what's going on. |
