Canon XA30
Looking at the XA30. Seems to be either NTSC or PAL. Is this still relevant for HD? Or is it just the 50 or 60 frames thing? I'm primarily working online. I'm in Oz which is PAL country but there's a $300.00 price difference between the two.

Re: Canon XA30
Still relevant for capture. If you shoot 30fps in PAL land you will get bars moving down your footage under some interior lighting conditions, often enough to be annoying. If you only shoot outside or with battery lights, doesn't matter. On-line display it's not relevant. Shop around for the PAL XA30, it's widely available for under AU$2000.
