Matching full auto with Cinema mode on HFG30
I was shooting a wedding with two cameras. One set on Automatic and the second was set to Cinema (filter 1). Now I need to match color. I know I have different Recording Modes (automatic at 24 Mbps - Cinema shows 17 Mbps), I have different Frame Rates (automatic set at PF29.97, Cinema set at 59/94i).
I'm editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. I'm not terribly concerned about the different recording modes (unless I should be). I know how to accommodate the Frame Rates. How do I match the color? |

Re: Matching full auto with Cinema mode on HFG30
So I think I have come up with a close enough color match. To the "Cinema" line I added a Lumetri Color effect adjusting the Basic Correction - Saturation to 150.00%. I also added Brightness & Contrast effect 15.0/20.0 and Sharpen effect +20. I am also adjusting the "automatic" line when needed with the Brightness & Contrast effect and Sharpen effect.
Thanks for listening. |
