Windjammer for XA20?
Contacted Rycote for a compatible windjammer in their program, but there is none.
Anybody have an alternative? |

Re: Windjammer for XA20?
The "Micro Windjammer" designed for built-in mics on DSLRS, etc. might work with the build-in microphones. Or you may be able to fabricate one frrm fake fur that woud fit over the built-in mics.
However the XA10/20 will do better with an external mic such as a NT-2, AT-875R, or AT-822 and a Windjammer, "DeadCat", etc. designed for that mike.

Re: Windjammer for XA20?
I know, I do have a shotgun mic, but I also want to have a windjammer when I decide to go without the shotgun.
I guess my wife will need to power up her sewing machine. |

Re: Windjammer for XA20?
That looks similar to the "Micro Windjammer".
If you don't want to leave it on, you might be able to fabricate something that is held on with Velcro when needed.
