Re: Manuals XA20 XA25
One thing I have noticed in reading the manual for the XA20/25 & HF G30 & comparing them to the HF G10 is the quoted run times with the two largest size batteries they make for these cameras. Waaaay shorter than the quoted run times on the HF G10. I hope this is not the case, as it is significantly shorter than the previous model cameras. Roughly an hour less on these new models compared to the old ones.
I have an XA20 on order, so I guess I will be able to answer my concerns with real world experience in a couple of weeks or so. Regards, Bryce

Re: Manuals XA20 XA25
The XA10 was rated at 3.2 watts power use in the spec page of the NTSC version manual.
The XA20 PAL manual lists 4.5 watts. Expect ~30% less runtime with XA20 and the same battery compared to the XA10 under their test conditions. YMMV. I also note the XA20 manual is a bit shorter (fewer pages).
