Back Focus Issue with XA10 at DVinfo.net

Hello:

Anybody have any problems with back focus? I'm going to be sending my camera in for repair as it definitely is having a problem maintaining focus in Manual Focus mode. Photo #1 is camera set 5' from target with lens set at 42mm at F2.8. Photo #2 has same settings as #1 but lens is set at 4mm. Photo #3 has same settings as #2 but focus adjusted to achieve sharpness. I first observed this when shooting using the built in monitor and would use the typical approach of zooming in to focus then zoom out for wide and noticed the shot looked soft which became even more apparent when using an external monitor.

Sent back to Canon and all fixed, never did mention what they ended up fixing...
