What is the HDMI output?
Anybody know what the signal coming out of the XA10 HDMI is? e.g. (4:2:2, 10bit, or 8bit)?
Thanks

Re: What is the HDMI output?
HDMI out on the XA10 is likely to be 8 bit.

Re: What is the HDMI output?
FWIW: I've heard that the typical human eye can resolve steps in a 6 to 7 bit gray scale, but cannot in in an 8-bit scale. However, image processing artifacts may easily reduce an 8-bit original to something less, even if the final output is nominally 8-bit.
