Canon HV20 Waterproof options
When using the HV20 at the beach, in the rain, or on a boat, what are the options to keep it dry, but maintain the clarity of the lens? I would like to hear all of the options to keep the HV20 dry.
One option I saw is something called Aquapac which is a plastic bag type protection. Manufacturer's site with movie samples: http://www.aquapac.net/ukstore/erol....%3D10%26sa%3DN BH photo has it. Anyone have any comments on this? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...or_Barrel.html Thanks.. Last edited by Alan Green; June 15th, 2007 at 07:13 PM. |

Hi Alan -
The Sony HCB and HCC sports packs also can hold this camera - I had a couple gutted shells laying about... since the HV20 doesn't have LANC, all it needs is to be housed, so proved to be a good "recycle" for a electronically dead HCB. |
