HV20 +Brevis question
I have a surf contest here in V.B. on saturday that im doin the vid on. Assuming its sunny, what settings should I set the cam to for beach/sunny/water? Ive only had a little experience with the adapter, but I cant get really sharp vid from it. Im getting good D.O.F, but the subject remains a little blurry as well. Gimme some input guys! Thanks!

I shot some really sunny stuff at crater lake in oregon the other day. I ended up just not worrying about locking the aperture with the lens cap trick, etc. Instead I just set it on TV mode (48), turned the Canon FD lens to about f5.6ish, and turned the fstop on the HV20 down a ton. I also had a polarizer and .6ND filter on. (was shooting 24p mode)
The footage looked extremely sharp, a lot more so than when I had been shooting my short movie using cine mode and lens cap tricks. |
