Service menu?
Canon XL1 had a few "secret" functions like color bars, and other cameras had service menu's with interesting things to be adjust. ¿Anyone knows about the posibility of finding a secret key combination with the HV10/20 cameras?

If anyone does, we ask them not to post it on, or link to it from, DVinfo. In some cases, serious damage can be done to a camera by tinkering around with such menus that the manufacturer does not intend to place into the hands of end users.

I complete understand your position, but with the apropiate warnings, that would be a very useful "modding tool" for a lot of users.
Thanks to the complex and dangerous service menu of my old projector, I was able to get a perfect calibred image, and also minimize flickering. Even I fixed the bad red panel allineation shiftin electronically one pixel up. |
