Cant get XLR pro and HV20 to work...
Im about to shoot in 3 hours and i cannot get my external mic to work with the HV20.
I have a XLRPro unit that attached to a boom mic, but no matter what i do, i cannot get sound from the mic. I think ive tried every combination of switch on both HV20 and XLRpro. Either i get massive static, or nothing. Ive tried changing the batteries also..but nothing. I have the switches set to Mic, and the XLR boom mic set to the 1st port.. help? A Beachtek works fine with the HV20, so it's something in your adapter. It doesn't need phantom power, does it?
