Multiple Video out from HV20? at DVinfo.net

Can you monitor video from the HDMI and Component at the same time?

I don't have an HDMI out so I can't check - thanks!

I'm not sure about Component, BUT you can't have HDMI and Composite out at the same time. Bummer since I was considering a cheap composite field monitor (for framing) and HDMI for live capture at the same time (although still waiting for cheaper options for that).

My monitor only has HDMI/Component switchable so I can't check either. Someone must have two HD monitors that can try this?

Yeah, it seems that HDMI takes full priority.
I've been monitoring with Component and Composite though.
