Pal Hv20 Shipping Now In The Uk!
Just a quick note let everyone know who has been waiting for the UK PAL release of the HV20 that mine has been shipped today from DABS.COM (in the uk) and will be arriving at my home tomorrow. DABS have confirmed this today. The website at the time of writing this is showing it as "awaiting stock" but it may be worth giving them a call if you are in the market for the PAL version. Hope this is of use to someone!

If you are able to upload some 25p (with or without cine) to snapfish etc it would be really really appreciated!! I am intersted to know whther the haprness setting -1 to +1 makes any difference in cine mode using 25p Thanks in avdance Fergus Bummer - just seen dabs have put there price up by £50! |

Hi y'all, yes i will look at the possibility of uploading a few clips inc. 25p. Dabs have indeed put the price up today, glad i pre-ordered mine at the £733 price!! What im wondering is how 25p will edit within Sony Vegas, as its a new format for me, will give a brief rundown of my first impressions within a day or two...stay tuned.

Hi all, just to say again that the UK PAL HV20 IS DEFINATLEY IN MY POSSESION! It seems i was one of the very first to get one but ive had that before with DABS! Its also without doubt the uk version, its got uk moulded plug and "25p" and "PAL" logos emblazened on it. The box also has a label that says "HV20 KIT GB", presumably the GB means Great Britain. Guess i was just lucky to get one this early!! If anybody wishes a photo drop me a line with your email and i will send you one. Im well happy!

Also in Denmark
I also got a track&trace number tonight. Danish postal service has registered my package somewhere abroad (probably just across the border to Sweden or Germany).
So I hope to get it tomorrow on my birthday. But maybe it will take longer and I have to wait to monday ? :( The company still lists stock date for 23rd, some other mail order companies are writing different dates in next week, some still may 1st up to may 15th. Price in Denmark still only 1 UKP above its lowest. Lets see what happens when they can deliver and get in stock. |
