Since it seems this thread is not about the video quality, but about the stunt, I will say this: The stunt is amazing. But it really disturbs me when I see people thoughtlessly abusing and defacing buildings and other architecture with skateboards and bikes. Reminds me of the bumper sticker, "Skateboarding is not a crime", to which I always want to add, "Yes, but vandalizing public property is".
Unless, of course, Marco had permission from the building's owners to do this incredible bike trail riding on their property. Children's playgrounds, aging and fragile buildings. Where to next? As an aside, we're probably related, Marco, because my mother's maiden name is Blau. Last edited by Dan Peterson; April 15th, 2007 at 07:58 PM. |

What vandalism? He brushed against a small shrub, but that was all I noticed. No damage was caused. I applaud the video as much as the content. Especially love the angle of that first shot. Nice choice of music too.

Congrats for the recordings! I have seen them all and they are great! I mean what you do and also how you tape it. What soft du you use? I record with HDVSPLIT and then encode with TMPGEnc, but I have few settings, for example when I choose DIVX, I don’t have for example what you said "mode quantizer = 6". Whould you please describe your recording and encoding procedure? What’s your opinion of wmf? Lot’s of luck with what you are doing with your bike! |
