Record Analog SD signal to minidv with HV10
Hi!
I will buy a HV10, but dont find the answer in a manual: can is feed the camcorder with standard SD signal, and record to minidvd tape? Or the Analog IN function is just for AV->firewire conversion? thx Marton |

It works fine. Put the hv10 into deck (playback) mode, hit record/pause (under the LCD not the shot trigger), and the connected A/V input shows up & records.
Note, it appears to record as 4:3 SD DV, not HDV. |

"it appears to record as 4:3 SD DV"
Thanks, that's exactly what i want! In wedding situation i will go absolutly sure, so my XM2 output will go to little hv10, and it also records! (no more worry about dirty head, bad tape, remove cassette message, etc) Come on HV10, come on! :) |
