Is the Raynox HD-2200PRO-LE 2.2x a good Tele?
Anyone use this telephoto lens? It is threaded for 37mm so I was thinking of getting it for my HV10.
Is Raynox a good quality lens? The 10x zoom on the HV10 just isn't enough when I'm out in the weeds trying to get some nice close shots of the Wildlife. |

I've been very pleased with both the Raynox wide-angle converters I've tested and I do believe they're a reputable accessory lens manufacturer. But I have to admit I've never used their powerful telephoto converters, though do like the way their site gives you real examples of how the images look from their lenses.
http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/egindex.htm If you do buy the tele converter you won't be able to zoom back far before the image vignettes, and of course you'll need a really sturdy tripod with a nice head to control the wobbles. tom. |
