Battery Question - BP-315
Hi guys
I recently bought what I thought was a canon BP-315 battery on ebay. When it arrived I noticed that it was a BP-315 replacement battery (OEM?) I also noticed that the spec on the back says FITS Canon BP-315, 7.2V 1500mAh - use specified charger only... Is this battery safe to use / charge through the camcorder? I have the European PAL HV10 and my standard battery says 7.4v Will it damage the camcorder by using it? Whats the difference between 7.2 and 7.4 volts? Thanks in advance Fergus |

i've asked this before, and the response was that .2 volts is negligible, so its ok. I've done this with another canon camera, and its perfectly ok as long as its a .2 v difference.
