Dubbing Music

I have used Stereo ! for all my recordings with the HV-10.

I've noticed that on playback you have several choices depending on what you want to do ie...Stereo 1, Stereo 2, Mix 1-1 and Mix/Variable.

Which do you think is best for adding Music, and should I record in the same setting that I will use for playback. I'm using iMovie HD.

Thanks, Your input will be appreciated.

For the most flexibility dub the music over your video in post.

If you do it in camera I believe 'Mix/Variable' will allow you to balance the music against the recorded sound.
