tips for low light shooting (How to reduce or disable gain)?
Hello everyone!
I got my HV10 yesterday. I chose it over Sony and Panasonic, mainly thanks to this forum! :) The camera is otherwise perfect(!) except the low battery life and poor low light performance... oh well, you can't have everything in a such small package... ;) So far I have discovered that the only way to disable the gain at the low light situation, is by choosing a SPOTLIGHT or SUNSET preset. However, with these setups, you can't use a manual white balance. So is there any way to reduce the gain in P -mode, where the white balance setting is enabled? I prefer dark but high quality picture over a grainy picture with vertical stripes... :/ Thanks! - Axu |
