Canon HV20 Display

I swear I read this in the threads before, but I can't find it now. I'm experimenting with the Blackmagic Intensity Pro card and am live capturing from the HV20. How the heck do I remove ALL icons from the display? Obvioulsy this is a problem b/c the Intensity captures a live stream from the HDMI out and it records any and everything on the screen. Obvioulsy I've pressed the "display" button, but I can't get rid of the flashing tape missing warning, or if a tape is in, the record of pause warning.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Menu, Display Setup, TV Screen set to off, will give a clear out put.

hi Mike.. Really nice, this one. A big improvement over the previous one. You've really nailed the contrast and colours nicely here too. Definitely worth the download!

Great looking movie. Loved your framing and the overall feel. Although I did see a few moving cars. You could possibly rotoscope those out I guess?

And any chance of posting a higher quality version? YouTube doesn't do it justice.

Just Married

Hello,

I am proud owner of JVC GZHD7, and I have posted so many videos captured by me in various forums! I am sure many of you guys already seen my videos!

Now I have had Canon HV20 with me, and I was very much exited to have my hands on it! And I have had chance to compare both!

I shoot one wedding party with Canon HV20, I surprise how this cheaply made small camera can produce stunning video! Here is 10 minuts clip follow below link:

And here is my old clip which I posted on vimeo, but it was having speed problem so I fix it, if some one is interested follow below link:

Experimental edit clip

I had the idea of creating an entire music track and video in one just using the audio from random video footage I had on my hard drive. It kind of worked.. The melody at the start (if you could call it that and if you can ever hear it) is just camera noise from the HV20 with the pitch of each individual edit adjusted in Vegas. Then I found a few clicks and pops in the video which I used for the kick/snare/hat kind of beat.. some fireworks explosions too...

Anyway, it was worth a try. Could probably come up with something better if I spent more time on it. But still, always fun working on the music and video simultaneously in the one program..
