HFG10 Dust spots inside lens help...
Had my hfg10 for 13 months and past couple weddings noticed a couple of spots in the footage, cleaned the lens outside well and monitor and it looks as if its inside the lens. can I take the front of someway and clean as canon uk are wanting a fortune...

I don't know how a HF G10 is constructed on the front. I myself own a Canon XH-A1 in which I once got a small fly inside the optic. I dismounted and cleaned it myself. Below you'll find the instructions how I did that. Opening the lens house on a Canon XH-A1 The HF G10 is probably constructed in another way. Good luck! Regards, /Bo |
