Need shutter speed change on the R10 camera
Well I went with the cheaper priced camera this year to see what I can do with my first tapeless camcorder. I do like this camera except one thing, I have no way to stop the shutter speed from changing on its own.
I've tried every setting in the menu from program to lowlight and tried the maual exposure mode but have found out by playing it back that when you increase the F stop for some reason it increases the shutter speed too. I'm taping a new tv show and I need all the F stop I can get, but with the shutter speed shutting down the light on me things are just too soft for a good sharp video. Does anyone know how to control the shutter on these cameras? Its a great little camera except for that one problem. I love the mic level and attenuator controls , those are great. I was wanting to buy two more ...but if I can't control the shutter then ....I just don't know. Budgets are tight right now. Thanks for any tricks that you have discovered on your own. Cheers, Tony B. |
