Lens hood/ matte box for WD-H58 Converter?
This wide-angle converter has proved a great addition to my Canon HF S100, but in bright light I sometimes notice a loss of contrast, flare etc - duh!
Has anyone come up with a lens hood solution, given the lack of filter thread (why would Canon omit that!). Or are we into the DIY territory of black plastic sheet and duck tape? -Terence Last edited by Terence Morris; August 23rd, 2010 at 08:08 AM. |

There should be a "petal" type lenshood that came with the Canon WDH-58.
I've got one and it's very good. |

i got a Cavision LH-77, took a dremel to carefully expand the diameter of it a bit ad now fits perfectly on the WD-H58
