I was fortunate to contribute a minute or two of video to the documentary "Lucky" which appeared at this years Sundance Film Film Festival. Most of the film was shot on the canon XL-2. It was directed by Jeffrey Blitz who directed the Academy award nominated "Spellbound" and "Rocket Science" a film which appeared at Sundance in 2007. The film follows lottery winners and their lives after the "big win" For the casual shooter there is not much to compare to seeing your stuff on a big screen. The editor remarked that the footage from the hv 20 looked very good, needed little color correction and stood up well to that from the XL-2. All of the clips were shot in straight 24p and were taken in Vietnam.
