HV40 Replacement Still Buzzes
Hi Guys, I got my HV40 replaced from Bhphoto.com because the tape drive buzzing was awfully loud. The replacement came and it is much quieter but still buzzes a little. Can anybody comment on whether there's a breakin period to where the buzzing will eventually go away? Many thanks.

This is a bit worrying - I was going to get one while Canon still make them. As I said before, my HV-30s don't do this.
Is it worse in record mode like the one you sent back, or does it make the same noise all the time? |

The cause of the "BUZZ" is a poorly designed or malfunctioning lower head drum assembly.
It only gets worse-sorry.
