Priority Shutter Workarounds?
Ironically, while Canon's consumer still photo cameras have Aperture Priority and Shutter Priority and Manual mode, their consumer camcorder line offers the first two only.
So, is there a workaround or some kind of hack or an aftermarket accessory that can enable the operator to manually adjust both the AE and the SP at the same time without being limited to one or the other? If the answer is no, then does anyone know a Canon technician who's kind enough to help in this regard? I'm posing this question under the assumption the AE and SP on the upcoming HF-S21 will work the same way they currently do on the HF-S10/100 cameras. Having such a compact and capable camcorder with manual control - and no limitations or caveats - would be fantastic. |
