Pixela PDF for HFS10

I am travelling overseas and having trouble downloading & using the Pixela software bundled with the camera. I have downloaded the software from the supplied discs before I left & have not got them with me, but somehow I can't locate the PDF & wish to simply download this. I have found that both the Canon & Pixela sites to be useless for this, as even though I have registered, I can only download updates.

Any suggestions how I can just download the PDF as the Pixela software seems to be most un-intuitive.

I have only an older one, version 3. Ron needs version 5. If somebody could step up and
attach their version 5 manual PDF to their reply, that would be great. Thanks in advance,

Thanks Chris.

I'm in Poland for a week or so & learning how to use the new HFS-10 & cope with downloading AVCHD files. ('Til now I've always been a tape man) A few teething problems though, such as duplicating downloads when selected to SD card but still wants to download the internal memory as well, even though I selected the card on the camera !

Also when downloading AVCHD into Vegas (8 - 64bit) it says one or more files were an un-readable type but so far the few files I have played with are OK. Have you experienced this ?

I didn't think version 8 was suitable for HF-S10 files. In Vegas 9 it's drag and drop. If you're having trouble downloading the files, just copy the card contents (private folder) to your hard drive and be done until you get home.

When I worked with my friends material, this is exactly what I did. Put the car in my laptop, copied the whole thing, done. Edited the footage when I got back home.
