Canon Vixia HF10 Video Transfer to PC
Hello,
Hopefully this is the right forum for my question. I just bought a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder. When I transfer a video from the camcorder to my PC the colors on the playback do not look like the playback on the camcorder or on a tv. The colors seem to be purpleish. I am using Pixela (came with the camcorder) to transfer the video. Can anyone give me any tips or hints on what I may be doing wrong? |

I have no idea, but you could try copying the files over to the PC manually - maybe Pixela is doing something to the files.

Pixela isn't doing anything to the files -- what you're seeing is the difference in gamma between your HDTV and your computer monitor. The colors as displayed on your HDTV are accurate. Try adjusting your computer monitor to match. Thread moved from AVCHD to Canon VIXIA HF Series.
